Adhesion of water stickers

Article source:Common ProblemEditor in charge:Dongguan Hongcai Screen Printing Co., Ltd. Time of publication:2021-07-15

The adhesive force of water stickers transfer processing is directly related to the base oil of water stickers, the baking time and temperature after water stickers are pasted, the material of the transferred parts, and the composition of oil injection or electric transfer of the oil injection parts. The specific common problems are as follows:
(1) There is no adhesion at all, and it will be completely removed after hand scraping. This may be because the base oil is not consistent with the material of the attached parts (for example, PP and PE materials need special base oil), and it is not compatible with the chemical components such as oil injection and electric current on the attached parts, so that there is no adhesion after the reaction of the two components.
(2) There is adhesion but it is not firm. It is usually shown that part of the oil falls off in powder form instead of a whole piece by hand scraping. This situation is mainly due to insufficient baking time or temperature after the water paper is pasted (for example, the PP material should be baked at 100-120 ℃ for 30 minutes after it is pasted. If it is lower than the above time and temperature, there will be insufficient adhesion)
(3) When doing the 100 grid test, the surface oil falls off and the color of the pattern does not fall off, but it looks dull. This situation is caused by the insufficient adhesion between the surface oil of the water paper and the printed pattern, and the sticker is not completely dry.
(4) The lack of adhesion is also related to some other operation details (such as the cleanliness of the surface of the workpiece and the appearance of bubbles after the water paper is pasted).
